One of the cruelest events ever committed to film is the "scene" in Don't Look Back where Donovan pays Sing To You for a giggling Dylan and company, only to hand the guitar to Dylan to then play It's All Over Now Baby Blue while looking Donovan right in the eye....

Absolute cruelty!

Sorry, I had visions of Hans Andersen in my head when writing that.

Had absolutely no idea there were two complementary threads. Interesting. But I'm in Switzerland, surely closer to the UK link, no? And why haven't I received this before?

Not sure I quite understand. Why are we suddenly with Donovan in 1965, of all years? I thought we were in 1961, still a long way away from his earlry trippy music pre-dating the psychedelic period to come. Are you testing our attention span, our staying power.? God knows I personally have some very positive things to say about Donovan, but I thought i'd have to wait until the arrival of 1967 and Sunshine Superman to do so. Has AI taken over the programming order and shunted us into the mid-60's with the idea of getting a move on, into the years we all secretly would like to revisit (hoho)?

No, I'm just returning to alternating between the US and the UK as it used to be before last year. And I'm up to 1965 for the UK.

Y'know, Donovan wrote the liner notes for The Magnificent Moodies. Just sayin...
