While the old woman's rockabilly can't have the same energy as young one's by definition, 90's and 00's albums that Wanda recorded after rockabilly revival put her into back into running for Queen Mother of Rockabilly status surprisingly not all that bad (compared, say, to pitiful efforts to revive The Beach Boys).
I really enjoy that "Thunder On The Mountain" cover with Jack White, though perhaps more because of the sheer oddity of the situation (a rockabilly star from the 1950s covering a Dylan song from "Modern Times", of all things?).
However, it's still a revival, and it's more of a hint on how sharp that woman is in general than something of really lasting value by itself.
